Program:  James Madison University Arboretum Tour

Presented by: Master Gardener Docent

Monday, May 13th  2024 at 9:45 a.m.
PLEASE NOTE:  WE WILL MEET AT DEESE HALL AT 9:45 a.m. and CARPOOL TO JMU
Tour starts at 11:00 a.m.

Hostesses:  Gayle Gutierrez and Patti Booth 

This should be a lovely and somewhat unusual day, with our program being a “field trip” offsite in Harrisonburg.
Please wear walking shoes, and if the day is sunny, wear layers, a hat, and sunscreen – as you see fit.
We will meet PROMPTLY at 9:45 a.m. at Deese Hall, and carpool from there.
Our guided tour through the JMU Arboretum starts at 11:00 a.m.

We will have a brief business meeting either on the grounds of JMU or during lunch.

Lunch will be at a local restaurant; feel free to bring snacks or drinks as you wish.

RSVPs are not required, but would be appreciated – contact info for Sue Gosnell is below.
And please, if you want to join in at the last moment, please don’t worry about an RSVP – just show up!  
There will be plenty of room for everyone!

And finally – if you are willing to be a carpool driver, please let Sue know.

And just FYI, we are thankful for the folks who have already signed up to Host, and hope you will volunteer if you don’t see your name already listed, or if you see that someone has already volunteered more than once!  BMGC provides the plates, utensils, napkins, and cups, and the Hostess(es) bring a light snack and maybe something to drink, planning for about 15-20 people.
